“The office is situated within the Unity Multicultural Education Center (UMEC).” … enough said.
The only position that needs to be filled is a caring psychologist or psychiatrist who will help these poor folks out of their mental conditioning.
The true hope for those caught up in the homosexualist agenda is found in the Catholic group called “Courage”. This college should disband their LGBT office and implement Courage instead.
I agree, Therese.
Children are being brainwashed at an early age. As a teacher of middle school aged students we have had to intervene with young girls bullying others to join their ‘lifestyle’. You hear nothing about in the media!
How Sad, for St Gonzaga. To have a “Catholic” College soil his name with a LGBT organization connection to it. I am really curious about to which Church the American Jesuits (many of them) belong.
The Battle has begun. Where is the leadership of this Catholic Institution? Are they asleep? Is there anyone bold enough to proclaim the Truth of the Gospel of Life?
Answer: Promote the sacraments; especially confession to remove the errors. Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the most Holy Rosary for the salvation of souls. Call upon the Holy Spirit to enlighten those living in the darkness to see the light.
I remember a while back hearing a Black man express his disgruntlement–not to say indignity– with the current penchant for grouping/classifying the needs of ethnic, racial, and cultural minorities with those of homosexuals, as if being in the minority in race or ethnicity was somehow the same as being someone who chooses to participate in a particular sexual proclivity.
Being an American of Cuban descent, it has long been my impression that the needs of various ethnic, racial, and cultural minorities are peculiar to each group and would be better served by addressing their particular needs; which should have nothing to do with their sexual inclinations! The legitimate needs of these students can best be met through the ‘mentoring friendships’ evolved through association with others of one’s own background, who have already acclimated to the majority group. There are social clubs, ‘co-curricular clubs’, formed by members of various nations, races, religious communities, etc., on most campuses. The ultimate role of these clubs should be to bring about understanding and assimilation, and not division, from the larger populace represented at any given university, especially, under circumstances where the ‘leader’ is going to be hired and paid for by the school.
In a Catholic university, it would not be inappropriate to think that the ultimate goal would be first and foremost a witnessing to the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ, and secondly, Unity, in the recognition of our commonality as human beings made in the Image of God; this can best be accomplished through Faith, Love, Charity, and the Promotion of Dignity and Self-Respect, not the Glorification of Diversity, through the Promotion of Self-Gratification and Promiscuity, which is the ultimate goal of the LGBT groups.
