Aquinas ‘Love and Life’ Conference Aired by EWTN This Summer

Aquinas College in Nashville reports that the Eternal Word Television Network is currently broadcasting the talks from its “Love and Life in the Divine Plan” conference which took place earlier this year.

The conference was hosted by Aquinas College in partnership with the Ruth Institute.  From the Aquinas press release:

It brought together several experts who examined the issues identified by the U.S. Catholic bishops as modern threats to marriage: contraception, divorce, cohabitation and same-sex unions.

Speakers included:

Janet Smith, Ph.D., of Sacred Heart Seminary
Samuel Gregg, Ph.D., of the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty
W. Brad Wilcox, Ph.D., of the University of Virginia
Douglas Allen, Ph.D., of Simon Fraser University
Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., founding president of the Ruth Institute
Sister Jane Dominic, O.P., of Aquinas College

EWTN has been broadcasting these presentations as a six-part series on the “EWTN on Location” program, beginning with “Same-Sex Unions and Artificial Reproductive Technology” by Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse in June.

The program continues in July with Janet Smith, Ph.D.’s presentation on contraception and Sister Jane Dominic, O.P.’s talk “The Rich Gift of God’s Love” in August.
