More Franciscan University ‘Discernment’ Students to Pursue Priesthood

Franciscan University of Steubenville is touting the fact that six men from its Priestly Discernment Program are in the process of beginning “their formal journey toward priesthood or religious life”.

The news release from FUS indicates that 60 other men from the Priestly Discernment Program have entered seminary or a religious order in only the past five years.

Father Rick Martignetti, OFM, director of the vocations program, said, “We are very proud of the fidelity to prayer and the consistent hard work that these men put into their time here at Franciscan University and hope for great things from their commitment to and love of Christ and his Church.”
