‘Media & Faith’ Conference to Be Held at Franciscan University of Steubenville

Next month, the Communication Arts Department at Franciscan University of Steubenville is planning to host a conference on media and faith at which communications industry speakers will:

address using new media to spread the Gospel and preach the word of God and the challenges created by the digital revolution, and offer guidance for church organizations trying to get the word out about their mission and events.

Speakers at the event include prolific Catholic author Russell Shaw, Norwegian family-film writer-director Grete Salomonsen, “Get Religion” blog founder Terry Mattingly, former Relevant Radio president Sherry Kennedy Brownrigg, and Catholic Radio Association president Stephen Gajdosik.

Franciscan University of Steubenville is included by The Cardinal Newman Society in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College for its strong Catholic identity.  Read Franciscan’s profile here.
